Alyse Romano

Alyse began her ballet training with Pacific Ballet Academy and attended summer programs with American Ballet Theater and Joffrey Ballet. She holds a B.F.A. in Dance from the University of Californina Santa Barbara where she studied ballet, modern, improvisation and choreography under Valerie Huston, Christopher Pilafian and Nancy Colahan. As a member of the UCSB Dance Company, Alyse toured to New York and Italy to perform works by Jose Limon, Donald McKayle and Peter Pucci. In 2014 she went to New York for a dance teacher training through the Dance Education Laboratory on a full scholarship from Jodi and John Arnhold. While in New York, she performed with contemporary company Selah Dance Collective. She has performed as a guest for Santa Barbara Festival Ballet's Nutcracker as well as Pacific Ballet Academy's Nutcracker and Spring productions. Alyse currently dances for Bay Pointe Ballet and the Natasha Carlitz Dance Ensemble.
